I have made some changes to the first floor plan. The interior walls that look extra thick will have built in bookshelves/storage.

Here is a floor plan for the second floor of the house. 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and space for crafts/toys/whatever. Any thoughts?

There will also be a small loft/storage area above the second floor rather than having 15 ft ceilings at the peak.
I also just realized that I have to look at the location of the woodstove and make sure the chimney isn’t a problem.

Hey there! I found your site while researching for our home build. Seeing your drawings and what you are planning is very interesting. Did you do these drawings yourself (what program did you use?) or have an architect draw them up for you? Its great to see others planning to do the same. I noticed you haven’t updated a post in 4 months, have you made any further progress since then?
Good luck and keep posting the blog so I can follow along! Cheers, Mark

The littlest one has also learned to crawl since my last post, I suppose that could be part of it. I have been meaning to get back to work on this, make the floor plan even smaller and only on one level. Thanks for your comment, good luck with your house!
I used Home Design Studio to make the plans.
